Imaginary "Luke"

So everyone knows I'm obsessed with dogs. Like uncontrollably in love, can't even help the noises my voice makes when I see one, obsessed. Since my life has been fairly chaotic for the last I don't even know how many years, I haven't been able to have a little guy of my own. Well, with the imminent move, and my graduation from college, I'm finally taking the plunge! Eventually, the plan has always been to adopt a little baby yellow lab named Luke (Lucas when he's bad). Until I have more stability, and a larger house and yard, I will appease myself with the next best thing. A little legged Dachshund or Corgi named Baxter (haven't come up with his disciplinary name yet). And then when the planets align, Luke will join our little happy family! Until then, as soon as I move and scrounge up the $350 pet deposit I will be scavenging local animal shelters and petfinder to find the perfect little guy to make funny noises at. :)
